Visit the venue and discuss your needs with The Manager or person in charge of functions. Look closely at the room and picture what you yourself could add to it. Most function managers appreciate your input and will assist you wherever possible. Ask about catering and kitchen facilities, does the venue have its own catering staff or can you enlist the services of outside catering companies?
